Amr is a former Vice President and Advisor to the CEO of GAFI and previously served as Vice President of the Technical Secretariat of the Supreme Investment Council, where he was a Preliminary Committee member responsible for drafting the Egyptian Investment Law No. 72/2017. He also served as the National Contact Point for Egypt at the OECD, and as legal advisor for the International Leasing and Investment Company in Kuwait, specializing in Islamic finance. Amr has a diverse background across corporate, banking & finance, government projects, M&A, and investment-related advisory and dispute matters, having practiced law in Egypt and Kuwait.
